I work primarily in, ‘‘The Shaker Style’’ of furniture, as I am drawn to the simple, utilitarian design with minimal ornamentation. I find it brings a sense of warmth and comfort that others may enjoy as well. I make reproductions of historical pieces as well as Shaker inspired original pieces, using native woods such as cherry, walnut and pine, finished with safe, natural oils and waxes.
